I recieved my first Preorder from the Holiday Catalog in the mail Last night. It was such a stressful day at work It was nice to come home to new goodies. I needed to destress so I ripped into the package and started stamping. This little box is what I came up with. Several Ladies that are Under the same upline that I am wanted a tutorial so I am going to type up the directions. I hope you enjoy.

Get your Stamping up Trimmer and trim a peice of cardstock or DSP 10.5 x 7

Using your Simply Scored Scoring Tool Long on top Score at 2,4,6,8,and 10

Turning the paper so the short side is on top score at 1.5, 4.5 and 5.5

Using a bone folder Fold burnish all the score lines making sure that the 5.5 is Folded into a valley fold and the 4.5 line is folded into a mountain fold as shown.

Using the envelope punch board, cut a notch in the card stock at the 5.5” score line, by folding over along the score lines at 2” so that the card stock is doubled over, line up the score line in the centre of the punch. Repeat for 4”, 6”, 8”, 10” and finally punch the outer edge

Cut up the bottom flaps as shown in the picture above.

Use some fast fuse and Put it down the 1/2 inch section at the end.

Adhear the box as the picture shown above.

Apply some Fast Fuse to two of the bottom flaps. Fold the others in first then fold over the remaining two to close the bottom of the box.

To close the box push the top most score lines inwards to bring the box opening semi shut. Tie some Baker’s twine or ribbon around it to keep it shut (once contents have been placed inside). Finally pinch the top into a star shape.
This is really a simple project even though it looks like alot of steps. Instead of using DSP I took the fall fest stampset and Stamped my own background onto Crumbcake card stock. I then Stamped the same images onto whisper white cardstock and cut out using the matching Fall Fest Framelets and my big shot.

I Liked it so much I then used the same stampset plus the Ghoulish Greetings and the Holiday Invitation Stamp sets to Make a Halloween Verson.
It is such a versitile set I highly recommend it.
