I did do some crafting today, but I’ll show you those later (or not I am still not sure I like how they turned out) But for the next few days I thought I’d show you the things that I made during Convention. Today I wanted to show you this adorable Birthday pouch.
I love love love this stamp set. It is called Amazing Birthday and was going to buy it immediately when the new catalog came out. Then I found out we were getting it free for attending convention. While it was hard to wait I have been having a bunch of fun with it since I got home. This project also has matching note cards.. and I’ll show you those on sunday (mainly because I forgot to take a picture and my good lighting has gone now that it is evening.) The greatest thing about this set is it cordinates with our Banner Framelets. This will be one of my next purchase. Well I hope you enjoyed this Project and the supplies will be Listed to below.
Have a great weekend stampers.
I’m Back from convention!! (well I didn’t really have to travel far and unlike most of the people there I got to sleep in my own bed at night.) Can I tell you that Convention was an awesome experience. I loved it and will be trying to go back every year… I learned so much and made new friends. Not to mention came back with some new product, and who doesn’t love that. We made several Make and takes that we just awesome.
Don’t they look so fun?! dont worry you’ll get a better look in the coming days (I am waiting for my new camera lense so that I can get some in detail photo’s for all of you. I hope many of you will join my team so we can all go next year. My upline and sidelines are super nice and super sweet. I had schedualed myself to go back to work the 2 days following Convention (I will not be doing that again, I am not as young as I once was and after all the excitement really should have taken a day or two to recuperate.) Once I got home from work last night and was really able to relax and unwind I found myself in convention withdrawls and the friends I had made over those three days. They truly rank up there with my dearest friends, and I can hardly wait to see them next year (although some of them are trying to convince me to go to leadership in January.) The good news is one of them will be moving to salt lake in the next few weeks so I’ll get to charish her friendship in person all year long. (Who doesn’t love a friend that has the same passion for your hobby as you do) I will of course keep in touch with the others over email, Facebook and other social media.
Now on to this weeks Weekly deals, I was going to order some of the punches featured in last weeks and totally forgot! Which is a bummer because we did some cute things during convention with one or two of them. Don’t make the same mistake I did and get them while the prices are so low.
Have a great Day Stampers, Don’t forget to check back to see more indept post about the make and takes and to see some of the fun things my fellow demo’s gave me.
Have you seen our Photopolymer sets yet? They are easy to use, you can see where your stamping and as Shelli Gardner has stated Smell like chocolate! I ordered my first set and got it in the mail. It is called Endless Birthday Wishes…
Such a cute set, it was a lot of fun to use. I was able to line up the stamps on my clear blocks and make my own personal stamps making it say what I wanted. Want to see the project?
Excuse the poor lighting in these photo’s Its past 11 oclock so I don’t have the bright sunlight to help and had to use a flash on my DLSR. The ribbon is retired and will have to invest in the thick bakers twine in Coastal Cabana but all in all it turned out cute. The Pattern paper is Maritime DSP and the Colors used were Costal Cabana, Night of Navy and Real Red. I also got to pull out my blendabilities out and color a little bit. Have you purchased yours yet? They are so fun.
Now The one thing I didn’t like with the photopolymer was the fact that my Momento ink stained them a nice brown color. I know this is pretty normal but it just doesn’t look so crisp and new any more. I know, I know get over it right.. and I will just have to. What can you do.
Its July! I love july, the parades the fireworks, the barbecues and of course the family. Also July means Convention… This is my first year being able to go. I am so excited to meet my Upline as well of my fellow team members that I have become friends with online of the last few months.
July 1st also means some news from stamping up: Lets start with Blendabilities! Half the colors are available to purchase as of today! I have had the available colors for about a month or so and can I tell you they are so much fun to play with. Coloring is so theraputic and with the way these blend I’ve been coloring often. I can’t wait to get more stamp sets to be able to use these with. The available colors are linked in the table below:
The next exciting news is through the month of July Designer Series paper is buy 3 get 1 free! * Designer Series Paper Stacks and Speciality Designer paper are not included. This is a great way to stock up on all the pretty patterns in the catalog!
And last but not least and certianly not new here are a this weeks weekly deals. I am excited for the two punches in there as I am trying to build up my punch collection.
