Lemon Zest and 2018-2019 catalog
Today’s project is one of my favorites. Nothing screams summer like Lemons more specifically lemonade. I don’t know about the rest of the country I feel like Utah’s weather lately is stuck in the spring showers rut. We will get a bought of warm weather but undoubtably a weekend storm will roll in and and ruin our outdoor plans. So this week I brought the Summer in and made this adorable Fun fold card.
This card features two of the new in-colors that will be featured in the new catalog that launches tomorrow. (are you ready for fresh new product? I know I am) The two colors are Color me Clover and Pineapple Punch. Both perfect colors for lemons and the vibrant leaves of the tree’s the grow on. For a written tutorial on this project follow this link.

As I mentioned before the New Catalog launches tomorrow! Remember that it launches at Noon MST and that Ordering will be down from Midnight to Noon in order for the corporate office get everything all switched over. Happy Stamping!
We are back!
I’ve signed up once again! I know I know I keep promising that I’ll be better about updating but this time I hope that it is true. I’d really like to get this little business up and running and have a bit more of an online presence. I’ve finally collected most of Stampin’ Up!’s big ticket items and so I can focus on buying stamps paper and ribbon which means more diverse projects. What kinds of projects would you all like to see? Should I go out of my comfort zone and try to figure out how to do youtube video’s and facebook live? Let me know!
Holiday Catalog Sneak Peak
I actually created today, can you believe it. Moving into the new home we still do not have a kitchen table nor chairs for any of our desks. So creating on the floor isn’t very comfortable. However when I went to convention and saw this Kit that is in the Holiday Catalog I had to have it and make it as soon as I got it.
This is the Witching Decor Kit, Isn’t it Adorable! I have a feeling that this will sell out fast. It goes on sale Sept 1st so You’ll definately want to place your order with me that day or shortly after… this year once the product is gone its gone, they will not be doing back orders.
I hope you will Join me in making this adorable project next month. Have a great day stampers!
Weekly Deals
Not much to report this week, We are in the middle of moving and I am hoping I can set up a crafting space in our new little house. I Have some Idea’s but We will have to see when we get there. Our new floor plan is pretty open meaning I can’t just leave a project and close the door. Any Idea’s for setting up a small crafting space that still looks classy? I’d love your Idea’s.
Here are this weeks weekly deals
New products have also been Added to the Clearance Rack be sure to check them out! Have a great week Stampers!
Back on the Saddle Again
Wow, I’ve been gone for a long time. I am sorry about that… No new projects to show you today however I am working on swaps for Convention. It honestly is my favorite time of the year, But sadly this year is the last convention as we know it. So I thought with swaps to go big or go home… I am making a whopping 100 of my swap design… I got the first part of it done today with a fellow demo friend and after about 3 1/2 hours I was drained, so was my Tip Top Taupe Ink pad. That poor ink pad has only been in the world for a little over a month as a new in color and its had more use then all my other ink pads combined. Needless to say I need to buy the reinker. Isnt it awesome that Stampin up offers that? Saves us all so much money… I am glad I don’t have to purchase a whole new pad every time Its dried up or I’ve used it all up.
This is what 100 Card fronts look like. I also got half my images Stamped and Cut out with the big shot… I feel like I made some good progress. Have you ever tacked a big project? Whats your favorite way to get it done complete them all one by one or do a assembly line style? I will show you the product when its all finished so look forward to that.
I”ve dropped the ball on the weekly deals so lets start this back again. A few days late but here they are.. HAve a great weekend my friends.
Witches Night Out….
This weekend I get to meet up with about 40 local Demostrators for a new meeting called Unite and Excite. Swaps are a big thing for Stampin up events. I didn’t participate for convention because I had a shoulder injury that made it hard to create for awhile, but decided it would be fun to give it a go for this event. I knew I wanted to use my new Tee-Hee-Hee set that Ive fallen in love with. If you search of it on Pinterest however there are only a handful of cards popping up. It wasn’t really helping me in the insperation department. After searching and thinking of what I wanted to do I kept drawing a blank. Late last night It just popped into my head on what I wanted to do… I got up early hoping it looked good in person as it did in my head. (Do any of you get inspiration while laying in bed or in your dreams) It turned out pretty cute I am pretty happy with how it turned out.

Holiday Catalog Sneak Peak and Weekly Deals (plus a Tutorial)
I recieved my first Preorder from the Holiday Catalog in the mail Last night. It was such a stressful day at work It was nice to come home to new goodies. I needed to destress so I ripped into the package and started stamping. This little box is what I came up with. Several Ladies that are Under the same upline that I am wanted a tutorial so I am going to type up the directions. I hope you enjoy.
Get your Stamping up Trimmer and trim a peice of cardstock or DSP 10.5 x 7
Using your Simply Scored Scoring Tool Long on top Score at 2,4,6,8,and 10
Turning the paper so the short side is on top score at 1.5, 4.5 and 5.5
Using a bone folder Fold burnish all the score lines making sure that the 5.5 is Folded into a valley fold and the 4.5 line is folded into a mountain fold as shown.
Using the envelope punch board, cut a notch in the card stock at the 5.5” score line, by folding over along the score lines at 2” so that the card stock is doubled over, line up the score line in the centre of the punch. Repeat for 4”, 6”, 8”, 10” and finally punch the outer edge
Cut up the bottom flaps as shown in the picture above.
Use some fast fuse and Put it down the 1/2 inch section at the end.
Adhear the box as the picture shown above.
Apply some Fast Fuse to two of the bottom flaps. Fold the others in first then fold over the remaining two to close the bottom of the box.
To close the box push the top most score lines inwards to bring the box opening semi shut. Tie some Baker’s twine or ribbon around it to keep it shut (once contents have been placed inside). Finally pinch the top into a star shape.
This is really a simple project even though it looks like alot of steps. Instead of using DSP I took the fall fest stampset and Stamped my own background onto Crumbcake card stock. I then Stamped the same images onto whisper white cardstock and cut out using the matching Fall Fest Framelets and my big shot.

I Liked it so much I then used the same stampset plus the Ghoulish Greetings and the Holiday Invitation Stamp sets to Make a Halloween Verson.
It is such a versitile set I highly recommend it.
